A smuggler, also known as a coyote, from Mexico lays unconscious on the shore of the Rio Grande River as a man attempts to resuscitate him. Minutes earlier, the smuggler led a group of Guatemalan migrants into the river with intentions to cross into Eagle Pass, Texas, U.S. This was following the second of two failed crossing attempts made by this group which included Rossanna, 25, and her partner Widman, 26, who were swept downstream by the rushing current and later found dead.
